The cross between a Gray Dark Brown stallion, whose coat the (G) gene acts on the base coat promoting progressive lightening throughout the horse's life until reaching very pale or completely white tones. Dark brown coat, often nearly black, with black points, expressed over the bay base., and a Perlino mare with coat cream coat with slightly reddish tones in the mane and tail, caused by double dilution of the cream gene over the bay base., can produce 6 different coat colors: Gray Buckskin (39%), Buckskin (39%), Gray Palomino (7%), Palomino (7%), Gray Smoky Black (4%) and Smoky Black (4%).
