The cross between a Gray Smoky Cream stallion, whose coat the (G) gene acts on the base coat promoting progressive lightening throughout the horse's life until reaching very pale or completely white tones. Very pale coat with yellowish highlights, resulting from double dilution of the cream gene over the black base., and a Perlino mare with coat cream coat with slightly reddish tones in the mane and tail, caused by double dilution of the cream gene over the bay base., can produce 6 different coat colors: Gray Perlino (30%), Perlino (30%), Gray Smoky Cream (13%), Smoky Cream (13%), Gray Cremello (7%) and Cremello (7%).
