The cross between a Gray Smoky Cream stallion, whose coat the (G) gene acts on the base coat promoting progressive lightening throughout the horse's life until reaching very pale or completely white tones. Very pale coat with yellowish highlights, resulting from double dilution of the cream gene over the black base., and a Dark Brown mare with coat dark brown coat, often nearly black, with black points, expressed over the bay base., can produce 6 different coat colors: Gray Buckskin (30%), Buckskin (30%), Gray Smoky Black (14%), Smoky Black (14%), Gray Palomino (6%) and Palomino (6%).
