Entirely black coat, with no dilutions and no Agouti gene action restricting black pigment to the points., and a Bay mare with coat brown body with black mane, tail, lower legs and ear tips, due to the presence of black pigment restricted to the points by the Agouti gene., can produce 8 different coat colors: Gray Bay (27%), Bay (27%), Gray Black (13%), Black (13%), Gray Chestnut (7%), Chestnut (7%), Gray Dark Brown (3%) and Dark Brown (3%).
