The cross between a Splash White Black stallion, whose coat the gene (Sw1) acts on the base coat color and imparts well-defined white markings, mainly on the face and limbs. Many individuals inherit blue eyes. Entirely black coat, with no dilutions and no Agouti gene action restricting black pigment to the points., and a Perlino mare with coat cream coat with slightly reddish tones in the mane and tail, caused by double dilution of the cream gene over the bay base., can produce 6 different coat colors: Splash White Buckskin (30%), Buckskin (30%), Splash White Smoky Black (13%), Smoky Black (13%), Splash White Palomino (7%) and Palomino (7%). Results vary according to the genotype of each parent — use the filters above to explore specific combinations.
