The cross between a Paint Chestnut stallion, whose coat the (To) gene acts on the base coat forming large, well-defined white patches across the body and legs. Many cases also inherit blue eyes. Base coat with a reddish body, mane and tail, with no black pigment., and a Smoky Cream mare with coat very pale coat with yellowish highlights, resulting from double dilution of the cream gene over the black base., can produce 6 different coat colors: Paint Buckskin (20%), Buckskin (20%), Paint Palomino (18%), Palomino (18%), Paint Smoky Black (13%) and Smoky Black (13%). Results vary according to the genotype of each parent — use the filters above to explore specific combinations.
