The head and legs retain the original base color tones. Dark brown coat, often nearly black, with black points, expressed over the bay base., can produce 6 different coat colors: Roan Buckskin (28%), Buckskin (28%), Roan Palomino (18%), Palomino (18%), Roan Smoky Black (4%) and Smoky Black (4%).
