The cross between a Splash White Black stallion, whose coat the gene (Sw1) acts on the base coat color and imparts well-defined white markings, mainly on the face and limbs. Many individuals inherit blue eyes. Entirely black coat, with no dilutions and no Agouti gene action restricting black pigment to the points., and a Gray Smoky Cream mare with coat the (G) gene acts on the base coat promoting progressive lightening throughout the horse's life until reaching very pale or completely white tones. Very pale coat with yellowish highlights, resulting from double dilution of the cream gene over the black base., can produce 8 different coat colors: Gray Splash White Smoky Black (22%), Splash White Smoky Black (22%), Gray Smoky Black (22%), Smoky Black (22%), Gray Splash White Palomino (3%), Splash White Palomino (3%), Gray Palomino (3%) and Palomino (3%).
