The cross between a Splash White Black stallion, whose coat the gene (Sw1) acts on the base coat color and imparts well-defined white markings, mainly on the face and limbs. Many individuals inherit blue eyes. Entirely black coat, with no dilutions and no Agouti gene action restricting black pigment to the points., and a Bay mare with coat brown body with black mane, tail, lower legs and ear tips, due to the presence of black pigment restricted to the points by the Agouti gene., can produce 8 different coat colors: Splash White Bay (27%), Bay (27%), Splash White Black (13%), Black (13%), Splash White Chestnut (7%), Chestnut (7%), Splash White Dark Brown (3%) and Dark Brown (3%).
