The cross between a Perlino stallion, whose coat cream coat with slightly reddish tones in the mane and tail, caused by double dilution of the cream gene over the bay base., and a Gray Black mare with coat the (G) gene acts on the base coat promoting progressive lightening throughout the horse's life until reaching very pale or completely white tones. Entirely black coat, with no dilutions and no Agouti gene action restricting black pigment to the points., can produce 6 different coat colors: Gray Buckskin (30%), Buckskin (30%), Gray Smoky Black (13%), Smoky Black (13%), Gray Palomino (7%) and Palomino (7%).
