The cross between a Paint Smoky Cream stallion, whose coat the (To) gene acts on the base coat forming large, well-defined white patches across the body and legs. Many cases also inherit blue eyes. Very pale coat with yellowish highlights, resulting from double dilution of the cream gene over the black base., and a Dark Brown mare with coat dark brown coat, often nearly black, with black points, expressed over the bay base., can produce 6 different coat colors: Paint Buckskin (30%), Buckskin (30%), Paint Smoky Black (14%), Smoky Black (14%), Paint Palomino (6%) and Palomino (6%).
