The cross between a Paint Cremello stallion, whose coat the (To) gene acts on the base coat forming large, well-defined white patches across the body and legs. Many cases also inherit blue eyes. Very pale cream coat, almost white, with blue eyes, caused by double dilution of the cream gene over the chestnut base., and a Dun Chestnut mare with coat the Dun gene acts on the base color, adding the characteristic dark dorsal stripe. In some cases it lightens the body tone and may also produce zebra-like leg markings. Base coat with a reddish body, mane and tail, with no black pigment., produces equal chances (25% each) for: Paint Dun Palomino (25%), Dun Palomino (25%), Paint Palomino (25%) and Palomino (25%).
