The cross between a Dun Buckskin stallion, whose coat the Dun gene acts on the base color, adding the characteristic dark dorsal stripe. In some cases it lightens the body tone and may also produce zebra-like leg markings. Golden cream coat with black mane, tail and legs, resulting from a single cream gene dilution over the bay base., and a Bay mare with coat brown body with black mane, tail, lower legs and ear tips, due to the presence of black pigment restricted to the points by the Agouti gene., can produce 14 different coat colors: Dun Buckskin (20%), Buckskin (20%), Dun Bay (18%), Bay (18%), Dun Palomino (4%), Palomino (4%), Dun Chestnut (4%), Chestnut (4%), Dun Dark Brown (2%), Dark Brown (2%), Dun Smoky Black (2%), Smoky Black (2%), Grullo (2%) and Black (2%).
