The cross between a Cremello stallion, whose coat very pale cream coat, almost white, with blue eyes, caused by double dilution of the cream gene over the chestnut base., and a Paint Dark Brown mare with coat the (To) gene acts on the base coat forming large, well-defined white patches across the body and legs. Many cases also inherit blue eyes. Dark brown coat, often nearly black, with black points, expressed over the bay base., can produce 6 different coat colors: Paint Buckskin (28%), Buckskin (28%), Paint Palomino (18%), Palomino (18%), Paint Smoky Black (4%) and Smoky Black (4%).
