The cross between a Chestnut stallion, whose coat base coat with a reddish body, mane and tail, with no black pigment., and a Paint Smoky Cream mare with coat the (To) gene acts on the base coat forming large, well-defined white patches across the body and legs. Many cases also inherit blue eyes. Very pale coat with yellowish highlights, resulting from double dilution of the cream gene over the black base., can produce 6 different coat colors: Paint Buckskin (20%), Buckskin (20%), Paint Palomino (18%), Palomino (18%), Paint Smoky Black (13%) and Smoky Black (13%).
